As soon as Google announced about the android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS upgrade to its previous android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, so what are we expecting next? , now its the turn of the OEMs to make statements and plans for how exactly they are planning the Android OS upgrade to their devices. As everybody in the world wants to have the latest Android OS for their android devices
Yesterday, we saw HTC announcing about the upgrade that the company is already making plans for the Android Jelly Bean upgrade for their devices and today Samsung took the charge
The official statement made by Samsung said,
Samsung will soon announce which additional devices are eligible for the Jelly Bean update. As the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer, Samsung leads the Android community with best-in-class devices like the Galaxy S III, and is creating new device categories with products like the Galaxy Note. Samsung has delivered the most Nexus-branded lead OS devices and we are pleased that Google will be bringing Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S customers the first experiences of Jelly Bean on a handheld device.
So its clear that Galaxy Nexus and Nexus S are the first devices apart from Nexus 7 tablet to get the most awaited and the latest Android upgrade Jelly Bean. Now with this statement we are getting a feeling of getting the Jelly Bean upgrade for Galaxy S III and the Galaxy Note. But for now, we are just guessing this from the above statement given by Samsung. We surely want this upgrade for these smartphones too.
So the upcoming months are going to be unpredictable and interesting as we will get to know exactly which devices are getting the Jelly Bean upgrade and which will not. But for now, I shall say to keep your fingers closed!
